It looks like that the tranfer mode (binary/ascii) was exactly what caused the problem: Forcing ASCII-transfer mode using the vdsipp.dll seems to work fine.

I try to use the (free version of) Tommy's VDSINET.DLL to up-/download some text files to my site via FTP.
Unfortunately, DOS/UNIX conversion of the TEXT type files (LF/CR-LF) does not ...
