I highly recommend this free installer which has a modern look and feel
to it.

Yup thats the one I also use. It's error free, the output exe is decent in size and works really really good. Don't be put off by the scripting required because it takes under 30 minutes to learn the syntax and properties needed to make a fully working setup.

Also the setup installer is free so please do donate to the author as he's done a really great job with it and continually updates it.

I use it as well. It was recommended here, and if you persevere, it works very well. I used VDSsetup before, and whilst it is very different, it is much better.

There is also a front end program for it....not sure what the name is, but, I'm sure if you do a search, you'll find it. Very nice installer!

The program was called "ScriptMaker". It is no longer supported and
the last release does not support the latest Inno Setup.

Maybe this could be an Open Source Project... Make a new front end
for Inno.

There is an excellent front-end for Inno - it's called ISTool and can be found here:

Shouldn't keep anyone from making their own, of course.

Well, scratch the open source project for a new front end then. Rolling Eyes

It also comes with a Wizard for making setup syntax that should be
sufficient for most people. Smile
