Well, this is absolutely non-VDS, so....
Had a bit of time on my hands so I surfed a bit and stumpled upon SequoiaView which is a directory/file
treeview utility that is soooo different from anything I've ever seen. Free for the taking, so go ahead and check it out.
Plain old family fun, and a handy tool for finding special file types and do a litte harddisk cleaning. Use the color view..

I agree - I'll certainly keep my classic file manager. What this one is great for is not finding specific files etc but
rather giving an overview of a harddrive by colorcoding file types and making it easy to spot big files that you
forgot you had lying around..
Cleansed up a coupled of Gigs yesterday in a few minutes.
Anyways, it was also the prog's total outside-the-box idea which appealed to me in the first place.

I've moved this to the Resources forum, as this is really a remarkable program that
shouldn't be left unnoticed. Even though not directly VDS related, I'm sure this will
be useful for some VDS programmers as well. |
