Recently I find a significant decrease in forum activity
beyond the usual weekly cyclical variation Rolling Eyes

Am I mistaken ?

Everyday I check the forum. Maybe it's because everyone is busy learning API so they to can post cool code. I'm speaking for my self. Very Happy

Or maybe folks are waiting for VDS 5.? With the enhancements and bug fixes.

I do wonder what happened to those old days where this place
had so much activity you could hardly read all of the posts accumulated

This forum has known much worse times than now. Recently there have been new
posts every day.

Still if you think that the forum is less busy than it used to be many months ago, maybe it

Mac was like another person like me. I'm probably the only one
who posts every day now. I'm coming up on 2000 posts.

We also use to get a lot of redundant replies... Someone would have
already posted a more than viable solution to someone's problem, but
there are a few who would come through and post their solution anyway,
as if their solution was the only one and that anything else posted by
anyone was irrelevant. That kind of activity has decreased greatly, which
I'm glad for. It's now easier to keep track of what users are having
problems with and what the solutions are.

Better to have fewer quality posts, than many redundant posts.
