Tech-Pro has just released a bunch of new utilities and applications, all written in VDS 5, on our website at http://www.tech-pro.co.uk.
Tech-Pro Utilities include a system tray application launcher, atomic clock synchronizer, a pop-up Notepad replacement, yellow sticky notes program, a simple search tool and a quick uninstaller. These are "donationware". You can download only the ones you want, except the first one which is required as it contains the common runtime files.
Tech-Pro POP3 Pal is a portable POP3 mail client that can be used to read and write email while you're away from your main PC, keeping everything on the server. POP3 Pal is shareware ($15 registration) although there's no restriction if you only need one POP3 profile.
There's also a favourite of mine, which I've given a a low profile as it's a bit "off-the-wall" - a freeware anti-virus written in VDS (with a bit of help from the F-Prot freeware DOS version .) You really need Windows NT/2K/XP to get the best from this as it uses the same APIs as our GetBack application. It also breaks the VDS Dialog Designer and other programs that are run while another program waits for them - you need to add such programs to a list of ones needing special treatment. It probably won't give Norton or McAfee a run for their money, but it was fun to write and it works well enough for me. _________________ The Tech Pro

My wife and I are directors of Tech-Pro Limited. But don't get the wrong idea, if Microsoft is at one end of the spectrum, we're at the exact opposite... _________________ The Tech Pro

Oh bum! There's no OPTION DECIMALSEP and I guess you aren't using a dot as your decimal separator. Though if so I'm surprised it didn't happen before. What's the point of having compiler warnings when I don't even look at them...
Sorry about that. Please download a new version. _________________ The Tech Pro
