Maybe we can modify it a little since that could cause problems, if we
copy directly from phpNuke without giving credit for the design. I didn't
know it was a copy of it. But still, I like it as a design. Smile

I've added a link to forumimages.com (that's where I've downloaded the style) to the bottom of the new VDSWORLD... next to 'Privacy Policy' Very Happy

WOW! I just saw how horrible the new design looks at 800x600! I think I'll have to hide the modules on the right of the page when viewing at 800x600, I think.

Regards,
Vic

It looks good here - a little wider than my display, but a lot
of sites are. Actually I would have guessed it was set up for
800x600... Confused

Cheers, Mac Smile

Hi everyone,

I've finished a few sections of the new VDSWORLD Smile
- File searching
- Rating
- Reading/submitting comments
- Downloading files
- Site Team page

The following sections are still left:
- Contact forms (contact Site Team, custom dll creation)
- All author related things (uploading files, editing files, etc)
- Tip submitting
- Custom VDSDLL compilation

The new VDSWORLD will be released withing a few months, even though it probably will be finished in about a week or two. This is because I still need to make sure that the scripts are absolutly bug and hack-free, and due the release of phpBB 2.2.
We must wait until phpBB 2.2 has been released, because the new VDSWORLD uses many functions/tables/variables which are used in the forum scripts too. As what I've seen so far of phpBB 2.2, I suppose that it will take another week (or more) to convert the new VDSWORLD to be compitable with phpBB 2.2... Confused

Stay tuned Wink

Vic

The new VDSWORLD is starting to come together real nicely Smile

I've also already developed a program to link author accounts to forum accounts. I saw that only a few accounts couldn't be converted automatically, but they will be informed via email how to get it converted.

Regards,
Vic

Expected Release Date: May, 22 (2004)

The Site Team members will be informed this week about how they can get access to it without having to wait till the release date (hehehe... unfair, isn't it? Wink)

Regards,
Vic
