I think VDS menus need to be focused on in the next release of VDS.
The basic capabilities should include being able to assign a bitmap glyph
directly from VDS, and being able to use DIALOG ENABLE/DISABLE on
menu items, etc.
I like the attention that was paid to lists in the release of VDS 5, and I
think the menus need to be focused on too. _________________ FreezingFire

Yes
Also I very much wished that I could add Enhanced Menus to my VDSGUI but I am too busy currently. May be I do it at a future date _________________ Regards

I think PGWARE has a DLL that does all this.
VDSug.dll does basic menus with check/enable/disable/removal,
but not the fancy glyph stuff.
However, I understand why you would want these features in VDS.
Cheers, Mac _________________ VDSug.dll does file IO, check/disable menu items,
non-VDS dlls, draw functions and more...

Yes the vdspopup.dll does this but it's for popup's. Menus can be simulated with the dll but they are still not the same as true menus. I personally think built in enhanced menu's would be a very nice option for vds 6 |

i agree ff...my ultimate dream for vds 6 would to have all of codescript's api stuff included natively in the code...surely it would not be that difficult to do...perhaps time consuming...i reckon that it would make vds 6 awesome !!!
