Prakash,

I certainly understand why you have come to the decision you have. If this is truly what you intend to do then the best ending I can think of for your excellent extensions would be to make them freely available to everyone and open up the source. Doing so would benefit the community and make it pointless for anyone to use a keygen or crack. As far as support requests are concerned, just setup an autoresponder that refers them back here for answers to their questions.

As noted I haven't made a decision on whether to keep the dll's up or not. Making them freeware is an option but something I am not going to do at this point, it would be unfair to those that have already purchased the dll's.

As to open source, I've tried this with vdsipp, no code was ever submitted to further its development. Based on that and the fact the dll's are not freeware it's doubtful I would open up source to dll's again.

As a purchaser of most of your DLLs I would prefer them to become freeware and supported here, rather than lose support and development. I would imagine most other actual purchasers would feel the same...

i agree with arcray...even though you won't make any money out of them, they would be a great addition to vds...of course, it's totally up to you Smile
