Uploaded a new DSU to VDSworld. Direct link:
http://www.vdsworld.com/index.php?page=download&fileid=397

This DSU adds a single function @winver() to VDS5 vocabulary.

Lets you obtain Windows version info for a whole range of Windows products: major version, minor version, build, version name, and codename, if available.

Also targeted tests, like @winver(IsWXP) or @winver(IsW98). And @winver(IsNTserver) and @winver(IsNTworkstation).

Free..

BTW. Obviously I do not have access to all Windows versions for testing, so if you have tested on a specific
version please let me know so I can sort of check that one off...

Windows 98 should be codename Memphis.

Everything looks good on XP Pro.

Thanks, guys!

-sheep: Had that codename on my list but didn't get it into the source. Should be there now Wink

Serge: The NT server thing was a mistake on my part - forgot to reset a variable. New version will be up shortly..
