Hi Boo,
While I am not CodeScript, I can tell you that he is busy as he has a job
that sometimes requires him to be offline and away for several days at
a time.
CodeScript is trustworthy and I am 100% sure he would not cheat you out
of your money. _________________ FreezingFire

Hi FreezingFire,
Thanks for your reply.
Yeppers, I know of Codescript's reputation. I was in no way questioning his integrity. Just trying to determine when I will receive my code.
FYI: I received an undeliverable e-mail notice, so figured this board was the best way to reach him and inquire.
Thanks again,
- Boo |

You could always try to PM him, to be sure that he reads it. I can image that when he's busy he will not read replies to topics

Hey Boo, I think I may be the problem for this. Currently his orders go
through me and I didn't see your order come through here yet, but I
just realized why. Let me try to get this going for you. _________________ 'What you do not want done to yourself, do not do to others.' - Confucius (550 b.c. to 479 b.c.) |

Hi Garrett,
I sent two messages, but did you receive them? (The messages are still in my outbox folder.)
Cheers,

| It might be better to email him to make sure he gets the message. Click the EMAIL button on the forum here to make sure it goes to his email box rather then the PM box here in the forums. |

No, got his PM's.
He should get his reg in a day or two. It's hard for Codescript to send
a reg when dumb Garrett here isn't sending verification of an order to
Codescript. _________________ 'What you do not want done to yourself, do not do to others.' - Confucius (550 b.c. to 479 b.c.) |

Hi Codescript,
Regarding the VDSGUI.DLL, I am having a problem showing custom icons with Ballon Tips.
Here is the syntax I am using:
GUI SET,TASKICON,MYTASK,#MYPROGRAM,BALLOONTIP,5,MYTITLE,Test Message,250
My icon is 32x32, 16 colors, 4-bit. After compiling into an .exe, the icon does not display on the balloon tip (i.e. there is a blank area where the icon should go. Also, I tried a path directly to the icon, but to no avail. The system defined icons work a-okay.
Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong?
Thanks,
- Boo |

Hi Boo
Windows supports only three kinds of icons for Balloontip (represented by 1,2 and 3 respectively for info, warn and error) just like message boxes.
| VDSGUI Help File wrote: | <BlnTip Icon> (Optional)
Selects the icon to be displayed in your Balloon tip
0 - No icon.
1 - An information icon.
2 - A warning icon.
3 - An error icon.
Additional Flags
16 - Do not play the associated sound
(add this to other values e.g. 17 would display an information icon with no sound) |
So parameter "5" is not supported.
BTW One small correction to your code:
| Code: | | GUI SET,TASKICON,TASKICON1,#MYPROGRAM,BALLOONTIP,1,MYTITLE,Test Message,250 |
Don't use MYTASK etc U need to use TASKICON1,TASKICON2 and so on. _________________ Regards
