Hi Serge,
There is a solution to that situation; come on over! hehehehe!
Here is a post I made awhile back:
http://forum.vdsworld.com/viewtopic.php?t=2367
Sure would be neat if all of us could meet as a group for some sun, sand, and programming.
Cheers,

|
|
FYI: I have had this problem also in the past and what has fixed it for me (at least I think the problem is resolved now) is to change the Project Target: directory to an entirely different location then where I store my script files (.dsc,.dsp,.~ds). In my case I have this set to c:\compile.
Now I have seen it where it will delete all of the files in this c:\compile directory. Of course it is not a big deal since I just recompile and I did not actually lose any scripts. I have seen this happen on two different computers. I actually set the Project Target: directory to a network temp location and when I closed the IDE it deleted all of the files that were in that target directory (this included all non .dsc files).
Since I have changed the Project Target: location to a location that is not where my scripts are located - I have never lost any of my scripts.
Project Target is located on the Project Manager tab - Project tab - Target: input box. |

Does anyone know if this has been fixed?
This is a very serious bug I think. _________________

If you are running Windows XP SP2, try turning on the Data Execution Prevention feature. It will catch any illegal memory accesses that would have the effect of overwriting executable code, and my guess is that it is something like this that is responsible for this problem. _________________ The Tech Pro

That is enabled by defrault.
And if your CPU doesn't support the feature, Windows, will enable a software version of the protection _________________
