I'd like to, mentally desire, that everyone have a positive; non-cultural, non-religious specific, relating to a gender neutral, age challenged, deity's biological beginning, experience.

Yes, yes we must be politically correct in this day and age.
So .....
Merry Christmas
Happy Holidays to all!

You Americans crack me up with all this politically correct stuff!
How anyone can be offended by say, a Jew saying Happy Hanukkah to them, or a Christian saying Merry Christmas to them, is beyond me...
Next you will be in fear of speaking English to a person of non-English-speaking origin. _________________ cheers

dave,
we have the same problem in australia with kindergarten's, local councils,...not celebrating christmas for fear of offending others from different cultures

Well Dave,
I'm guessing this sort of issue will arise anywhere where the people have the freedom to speak their mind, or snivel and whine about anything they want... (although I must agree that all that "politically correct" BS is a crock!) The price of freedom... (You may have noticed that I was the first to put the "politically incorrect" reply up.) I suspect that I live in the heart of the politically correct capital of the world! (Southern California)
That being said, MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!!!
(Whether you like it or not!)
I guess that's why I'm known as a Hooligan

Why does Happy Holidays have to be considered 'politically correct'?? I really think this whole thing has been blown out of proportion lately in the US. It's much easier than saying Happy Thanks Giving, Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah and Happy New Year. I'd consider it as a lazy/easy way to say have a good holiday whatever the h3ll you believe in rather than worrying if you are offending someone. For the record I only celebrate New Years |
