Hi guys

Just thought i'd give you a sneak preview of my First VDS6 Application. I have created VDS4, VDS5 apps in the past, but i must say that for developing and running VDS6 apps are more stable.

Ok this app is called:

Files Online Store...

It is an application that allows users to upload any file on there pc (using the wizard) and password protect it, it then asks for the email address of the recepient to send an automated email so the receipient can download the file securly.

Of course, the program is based on username and password with a quota for the account eg. Set user and give them 50Mb, 100Mb, 1000Mb of storage space. The upload is quite quick and the program is easy to use.

So who was it designed for:

We noticed that some of our clients (who are estate agents) tried to email several big files and they were never received or even sent.

Id be grateful if you could download and try it out...

Nathan

Hi Rubes
I was wondering if I would get in some trouble if I tried this on my website which is a paid host, not mine?

I currently have my own web host which offers an unlimited disk store and unlimited bandwidth. So the application for me is great...

But yes i do understand some users, so thats why you would set quotas and charge for a higher quota... btw

The entire application (can be custom branded), MySQL database, and PHP components can be supplied.

Regards

nathan

As others have said, it looks very nice. I like the way that it checks for updates. But I haven't actually used it, and did not install the updated version.
