Hi folks,
I coded a small application (just 57 kB in size) as an alternative to using MS Time program.
It basically has the same features but uses less memory and offers restricted users to view current time and make use of the calendar.
Some language support files are included also. Currently there are English, French, German, Norwegian, Dutch, Czech, Italian, Romanian language files.
If you're interested take a look at it. I hope some might find it useful.
I thought I'd share this little app with the VDS community.
Greetings,
Estas

Although I don't think I will every use this program "for real", I do find it notable to say that when I ran it and connected to the same timeserver as Windows, your application was about half a second faster in showing the proper time if I hit the Get Time button than Windows itself _________________ [ Add autocomplete functionality to your VDS IDE windows! ]

Updated Version 1.2.1.31
Added a few features and resolved a minor bug.
Language support:
For those who have time and are willing to further promote additional language files and feel able to translate the English or German language file into other languages, you can help:
Just translate the file in the language folder and send them to the author:
mdoran65@gmx.net
Looking primarily for Spanish, French, Italian...
Other languages also welcome. Thanks for your help.

I had a server that somehow thought it was still stuck in DST... ran this little tool and it has the correct time again (I didn't want to play with setting it manually). Windows refused to synchronise the time for no apparent reason, so TimeServer saved the day _________________ phpBB Development Team |
