Hi,
I found this program O'Basic97 (www.obasic.com), what you think?
Does someone of you know whether a good tutorial exists for this program?
Thanks |

Neat little language. Also made in Delphi. But updates and upgrades are even fewer and further apart than VDS even. There's also just about no user community at all for it or third party products. Can't say about the support though.

Hi All,
I agree with Garrett Notice the name of the product "O'Basic97" that means it has not been updated since 1997. I have a registured version of this language and I had even wrote a DLL for it but sadly Garrett is right there is hardly no user base for it due to the fact that the Author keeps saying that he is going to update it soon but soon never comes.... It does have quite a few abilities that I wish VDS had so I am busy trying to give VDS the same abilities that it has. _________________ Home of

Speaking of O'Basic! Ran into an O'Basic user on another forum I frequent.. here's the link to the thread.

If you're still interested in O'Basic, there's a one man user community there for ya.
Well, if anything, if you have any questions, drop by there and ask him, he seems to be quite fluent with O'Basic.

O'Basic released a patch for their program that lets it behave as a fully licensed version...they are dropping the development of it, as it says on their site...if you want to try it you can go to http://www.obasic.com/download/ and get your free copy... _________________ FreezingFire

P.S.: They say they might even make it open-source! _________________ FreezingFire
