Updated to version 0.0.1.4 on 7 May, 2009

* Added support for icl, then removed support for icl! LOL
* Increased file listing speed with some code optimizing
* Increased loading of icons in browser by not showing browser until
after icons have been loaded.

(Source code now available)

Now I know why I didn't add icl support. Because every icl I tried will not properly display icons in the browser.

I think this because the VDS Bitmap/Bitbtn elements do not allow you to use *.icl for the file name? I wonder why Jules locked it to only *.exe, *.dll, *.bmp, and *.ico's? I did a little test and renamed the *.icl to *.dll and was able to get these elements to show the icons correctly. Garrett I will get with you later on a possible work around Wink

DragonSphere, any luck on a workaround for showing icons in an icl file? I ran into an issue with my menu program with this also. Sad I've got a shortcut which has an icon reference to an icl file.. No less, it's VDS 6's association with .dsc files, which refers to an icl file.

It will take a little time but I am writting a DLL that can extract icons from *.icl, *.dll, and *.exe and save them to *.ico... This will take a little time so please be patient... Wink Once I have a working DLL I will send it to you for testing. I may be able to do this without a DLL... I just don't know yet still scanning all the API's needed for the job.

Alrighty. No rush, take your time of course. Just wasn't sure if you'd got side tracked or anything. I've got more than enough to keep me occupied for a while to come before I need to revisit the icl stuff again.

The core of my menu launch was quick and easy to make, but it turns out, the extra touches are taking far more effort than what the core did. I'm shocked that the A.D.D. hasn't kicked in on me yet for this project. I guess it's good that I'm actually using the program while developing it too, so it's in my face every day and won't let me forget it. Wink

* Added code to which allows the scrollwheel to scroll the browser window when the scrollbar is present. Thanks to DragonSphere for the scrollwheel code.
