Anyone interested in this dsu....
I have had it for about 2 years and never released it...
Its a countries DSU... adds the @contry function to vds and is called:
%%data = @contry(stlet|t|all)
@contry(command|letter|return)
Command can be:
stlet = Start Letter of the country
serch = Full country name, returns 0 for false or returns country info
all = Return a list of all countries
Letter = a,b,c,d,e,f,g ....
Return:
all = country name|currency used|currency symbol|ISO-4217 Code
name = country name
cur = currency used
syb = currency symbol
iso = ISO 4217 Country Code
Its only about 8kb....
Anyone interested.... its FREE by the way....
On another note.... I think although VDS looks like it wont continue as a product, its very handy to fire a quick program together....
I suggest any users that have any handy DSU's, code snippets that could be turned into dsu's could be posted, for other users.... (just to keep this forum live and kicking)... I still use it as a very valuable resource.....

I keep trying to get away from VDS due to it's seemingly impending doom of never being updated ever again, but I'll be damned if I don't always end up coming back to it. It doesn't help me trying to get away when VDS continues to run on the latest operating system too. _________________ 'What you do not want done to yourself, do not do to others.' - Confucius (550 b.c. to 479 b.c.) |

You bet thanks. Keep them comming.
I wish CR would keep it going or sell it. I really like VDS far to much and dont want to learn any thing else.
Thanks Rubes |

I feel the same way about VDS. It's easy, powerful and I understand it. if VDS dies I will still use it till it wont run on Microsoft's platforms.
Regarding the DSU.. Keep them coming I never know when I'll need them.
On another note: thanks for VDSWORLD and it's contributors its been an invaluable resource to me. |
