hey guys,
its me harry a long time vds user since 2.0
i'm using vds 4 now.
so i want to run a time sync progy on my 4 computer network that
operates my radio station.
i have computer 1 that i'm running a time sync on for computer 2
comp1 will save a file on comp2 then
when i call the vds script that resides on computer2 (from 1) all that happens is the script will open on comp1 and not set the time on comp2
<snipit>
list savefile,1,"\\Amslave1\c_on_amslave\timeinfo.txt"
list close,1
run "\\Amslave1\C_ON_AMSLAVE\vds\slave_settime.dsc",
</snipit>
any ideas?
thanks,
harry |

This would take a small utility on computer 2 that would have to start with Windows and monitor changes to the text file saved by computer 1.
Will take a loop. So a process that is always running. |
