Sorry, I did not know that between 4.02 and 4.50 that it was removed and intended to be placed in the complementary pack.

Mac I wasn't trying accusing you of ripping off vds  My explanation was meant as a reason why not to distribute as it could help those which are trying to rip off vds. |

Hi,
I installed the new VDS complementary pack with the infos manager
(yes - it is included). But now vds gives me the following error.
After that the syntax highlighting is disabled.

You might look at this:

Restarting VDS4 gives the same error and all the editing colours are not present in the IDE.
Answer:
You probably used shelper.exe with an existing command. This tools is intended to allow DLL authors to automate the addition of their DLL syntax into the highliting syntax system of VDS.
You have first to close any instance of VDS and then to delete the files shelper.sem and vdsprefs.dat. This will correct the problem. |
