This extension dll gives you Zip and Unzip features for your Visual

Hey Garrett,
I cannot get the ZIP DELETE command to work. So far all of the other
commands/functions work fine. I assume that the index position starts
at 1. _________________ Chris

Sorry, DELETE was not suppose to be left in the documentation. There is no DELETE command. If you want to delete, you'll have to rebuild the zip file. Not sure if there's anything I can do about having a DELETE added.

Doh! Well, If it can be added that would be SUPER. I cannot continue my
program without that command.
Thanks, _________________ Chris

We were able to get DELETE added during the night. I'll be uploading
an updated dll later today.
Sorry for the confusion on that, but looks like we get Delete
afterall.

Chris, delete problem again resolved. Documentation was incorrect. The command should have read "ZIP FILEDELETE" and not "ZIP DELETE". All documentation has been updated to reflect this.

Did you ever get a registeration code? My order is sitting unprocessed at regsoft for over 48 hours!!! And they do not respond to requests to process the order as instructed!
Who else has attempted to register vdszip? Have you had any luck?
Later:-
Regsoft finally processed my order, but I had ordered through PayPal because I was impatient and I wanted the dll badly! Garrett then rebated my Credit Card for the duplicate RegSoft purchase, so I am now happy! _________________ Andrew GRAY

Regsoft only handles the purchases unless the author has given them the registration generator. Most likely you'll have to wait till Garrett processes your order as I don't think he gave Regsoft a generator.
Try contacting Garrett directly because sometimes RegSoft flags valid orders as possibly being fradulent and the order never gets sent to the author (Garrett). He'll be able to see what happened to the order and process it if he hasn't done so. |

Yeah, the order had hit red flags at RegSoft. But what puzzles me is
that he's responded to them but hasn't heard back from them.
PK, you had any problems with them like this before?

The order was flagged as possibly being fraudulent. There can be many reasons for this such as misstyping your address, certain IP addresses, entering incorrect phone number details or using the wrong expiration date on the credit card. I once managed to have RegSoft process a fraudulent order to a valid one after I emailed and complained to them that the customer tried to purchase and now is flagged as fraudulent. The only real way around this is to have the customer try to purchase again either by phone or fax. Ordering by online may work but most likely will flag them again as possibly being fraudulent.
Thats the only problem with RegSoft, I've had about 20 purchases (within the 4-5 months I've been using them) which were flagged as fraudulent when they weren't. I no longer use RegSoft for the majority of purchases, I now use SetSystems (division of RegNet). |
