Im curently working on my next release on my Media player, and wondering what is the player you are using right now (for those who use them of course) and what are the feature(s) you like most about it. Thanks in advance for your answers.

I actually use Winamp 2, 3 and WMP 9, depending on how I feel I guess, and of course RealPlayer only when I have to(blah).
I like playlists and video in WMP and really only use Winamp because I'm used to it. Besides the AVS of Winamp 3 I prefer 2.
So I guess the features I look for are handling video and playlists well, besides the usual audio playing. If somehow it could do some housework for me that'd be nice too...anyway you can work that in? Wink

I use this shell thing I built for Microsoft Active Movie Control v.2.

Features I like are:
Handles Video and Audio playlist
Ability to Open Edit and Save playlist
Multiselect adding of files to the playlist
Random Play that deletes things from que and re-adds them when que is empty
Instant access to volume control
Easy Access Registry Association Tool...for if another install overwrites its reg entries

----------
The big downfall is the Active Movie Control is accessed externally in a seperate window, and the window behavior is really very buggy. Overall it sux, and I don't use it while i'm working.
