This is something I've been wondering lately:
Why aren't the tools that come with VDS (such as Dialog Designer,
Script Converter, Variable Counter, etc.) open-source? I think that
if they were they could be greatly improved upon and made to have
almost no errors if they were open-source. Plus, everyone would be
able to customize them to their own liking or move things around to
make it so that it worked more efficiently.

Open-source programs are very useful, but if a lot of people are customizing it, all versions will have different abilities... Not that I say it isn’t worth the try, but look at Linux for example. There are so many distributions that you don’t know which to try... |

Of course, there should be an Official Distribution, but what I meant was

BTW. Look on Tommy's site for some worked-out examples of things like a Windows Spy and a simple Dialog Editor... |
