Ok, instead of posting all the results, I'll just say this. Even with just
about everything shutdown, the results came back similar to the above,
but with faster speeds this time. The variations are still there.
I can only think of two reasons for this... First and foremost is that this
is Windows ME I'm testing on, which in itself is contradictory to the word
stability. Second, my system is old and ailing these days from my
heavy use and abuse of it.

I think Garrett's results are caused by the @datetime() function not being accurate... I guess the accuracy may differ for each operating system... |

Tommy, if Garrett's @datetime() function isn't accurate, then his system clock also isn't accurate. This should mean that he has to change his system clock every hour to keep it the same as the real time... So the question now is: Garrett, are you lost in time? |

... Or he could download a time-sync tool to automatically sync the clock
with the atomic clock time.
I believe one is available at

I do believe I found what the cause of the problem was!
My system up and died that evening and is down and out for the
count.
Now I'm stuck using an old IBM 200 Mhz with only 32 megs of
memory.
I'm so freaking bummed out now. This sucker is sooooooooooo slow
that I'm not even inspired to work on any programs at all.
Left speaker channel won't work, system won't recognize more than
two hd's, can't fit my 256 sim in the damn slot, opening a program
seems to be a major strain on the entire system
Well, Ok, I think I'm going to curl up into a ball in the corner of the
room now.

Wish I could just go out and buy a new system, but I can't find a job
here. I've been looking for work now for almost 4 months with no
luck. I can't even get a job as a dishwasher. The last week now,
I've been going out and mowing lawns just to try and cover my
rent. It's really tough in my area right now for jobs. I went for a
warehouse job and they had 100 applicants almost immediately.

Ok, sorry, my bad... I only realize now that the results are in seconds. What I meant
is that @datetime() is "only" accurate like up to 50 milliseconds, however that's irrelevant
here. |
