Let me explain something to you ACE. I've only been successfully writing
programs and dll's in C/C++ for a few months now. I have not spent one
single minute being taught, by anyone, a single thing about computer
programming. I had to learn it the hard way.

BTW, I'm not having a problem returning the TreeView's events to the VDS
program, the problem is the structure I'm using to keep track of
information about the controls that the calling app creates is not returning
information correctly.

Bill I am not sure what you are using to track the controls. Let me give you a hint were you can look to manage objects with C/C++. Look towards Linked List. A linked list is a structure that links to itself and to your data at the same time. You can traverse it forward and backwards. It makes it easy to search and it makes it where you don't have to reallocate arrays or allocate really big arrays to hold the data. Just an idea Idea You may already be using it. I don't know. Also I still owe you some code for Regkeys don't I Wink Sorry I have been a little sidetracked on other things... As for this thread I think it would be better placed on the DLL developers forum. As for ACE...Dude you need to chill...heheheheheheh LOL We can't all be as smart as you Laughing Anyway Bill if you like you can PM me and I can help you even if no one else will...
