Hi Mac/Garrett,
I personally think you guys should take this argument offline. Just like 2 old men to argue until the cows come home Oh that was a Joke you guys...
I don't care to read all this junk. Mac if you have a problem with VDS support take it up with SADE. vdsworld.com is not SADE. I am not a team member at vdsworld.com so all you team members take your junk somewhere else I want to talk about VDS and VDS 5 without this junk. hehehehehehehe Can we block anything negative being said about VDS? Is that possible. Hey Mr. Webmaster can we do that? I don't want an answer from a Team member. I think I can filter it... _________________ Home of

What we seem to have here is a desire for a failure to communicate. Please don't tell people to stop complaining. I for one want VDS to advance above and beyond where it is now. I have loads of great stuff to say for VDS, and probably more great stuff to say when VDS 5 comes out. It's my favorite language regardless of flaws...however flaws need to be pointed out both in the community and to SADE themseleves. What the point in having a forum if its all a bunch of yes men? I've found that the whole forum isn't bad, and most threads are positive and productive, but certain threads in the forum go sour, like this one. When you see a thread go sour either switch threads or suck it up and put in your two cents as well.
That being said...I think that direct attacks on individuals are disgusting. Please be careful that when you post you realize that VDS marketing and product design is handled by a group of people, and not individuals...also Team Members should show respect for the customers, if they would like to have any at least. I'm certain SADE would be thrilled if Team Members managed to scare them all off.

OK. Let's not kill everyone over a simple April Fools prank.
If you want to whine and moan please do it here:
http://developer.vdsworld.com/viewforum.php?f=_
That way, people who don't want to read it don't have to, and people who
want to argue can argue there.

Exactly. This is what burns me also. I finally talk SADE into letting me
post some info about VDS 5, and then someone has to nag and complain
about something. I post a little April Fools, and someone has to nag
and complain about something. Last time, I posted about VDS 4 and
can anyone guess what happened? Someone had to nag and complain. Several threads ago, I noted that the dialogscript.com site is going to be
redesigned and that the menu issue was going to be addressed, but yet,
someone still has to nag and complain about it.
Anyone seeing a trend here besides me?

I'm seeing it.
And...
EARTH TO PEOPLE!!!!
Do you want to hear about next versions of VDS or do you want to
be left in the dark? That's why SADE was probably reluctant to give the
info the first time because everyone complained. _________________ FreezingFire

Yeah I do. I see that every time I mention a problem I get personally
attacked. I am NOT gonna waste my time responding to someone
that just puts down folks they don't agree with (a classic defense
when there is no defense). Post whatever ya want Garrett, you're
saying volumes more about your character than I ever could. _________________ VDSug.dll does file IO, check/disable menu items,

Bug reports and issues with VDS and it's home website can certainly be expressed on these forums but we don't need any personal bashing.
Whomever keeps unlocking the topic - STOP DOING IT. Nothing productive can come from this thread so please let it die. |
