You can use TransparentBlt API after getting the device context (DC) of the window - I mean button conrol etc (everything is a window)

With the last version of Gadget I had so much to give examples of I did not have time to really give good examples of the TransBlt and AlphaBlend commands in Gadget. Also there are commands to shape your dialog to a bitmap. I will try to put together some better examples of these commands in this new version.
