can anyone tell me if vdsras.dll (made by Julian the father of vds)
will work with vds 3 & 4? (this goes way back to the time Tommy
was thought to be a vds pirate and got kicked off the list...turned out he was one of the great things about vds..)
anyway..i want to use the @RAS(EVENT) function it worked good
i get a error( cant find lib) if i try to use it in 3.5

VDSRAS.DLL, opposed to VDSXRAS.DLL, requires a registration code supplied to the
EXTERNAL statement in order to work in compiled scripts. Starting from VDS 3, I expect
the DLL to require the registration code even for uncompiled scripts, because of a
change of IDE filename from DS.EXE to VDS.EXE, which the DLL couldn't have accounted
for.

The registration code for the DLL can be obtained free of charge from Commercial
Research by all registered users of any version of VDS.
