Does anyone know whether VDS 5 supports ODBC database access? I thought I had seen that somewhere, but the current VDS site doesn't mention it. Was it all wishful thinking??? |

Hi, welcome to the forums!
I thought I have seen an extension called "VDSODBC" which does this.
This would not be a feature supported through VDS itself. Also you might
try using API calls to communicate with an ODBC server.
Next time, please post things like this in the appropriate forum. It was not
a good thing to post in the News/Announcements forum since it didn't
really fit with the immediate topic. _________________ FreezingFire

Also VDSDB.DLL, part of the VDSDLL 3 does just this.
MIDISA's VDSODBC.DLL allows to work with ODBC too, though MIDISA's files aren't
currently being listed at VDSWORLD. |

I didn't remember about the VDSDB.DLL, thanks for reminding me. _________________ FreezingFire
