anyone tried the api-guide available from http://www.mentalis.org/agnet/apiguide.shtml ... just wondering if it is any good for us with vds 5 and how we could use it

It looks like the Windows API in database format, with some C examples. I guess it will be at least as useful as the Windows API help file, but you'll still need to translate everything from C to VDS.

No it has VB examples you can convert some of them to VDS ones. It will be easier if you know a little VB although not essential. The group has done wonderful job - but sadly they have stopped it due to time constraints. I have interfaced some of the freeware dlls on their site in VDS.

thanks for your replies...i had a quick look at it and it made no sense to me...but then i know nothing about api calls except for the manual that prakash put togehter for us
