Well, I'm not that familiar with the wininet.dll stuff,
especially POST...
I'd recommend PGware's VDSIPP.DLL for this though,
it has an HTTP POST command that can either send a
file or a string.
I use the older (free) version myself, but Prakash has
just made the new version freeware as well.

Hello you should use the vdsipp as Mac noted. The http components as well as the rest of the dll is built around the free Indy Delphi components which have been tested throughly by thousands of Delphi programmers and hundreds of thousands of end users. The components themselves are fairly solid and bug free.
The post command will allow you to POST data correctly using the HTTP 1.0 protocol. You will not need to worry about binary or null characters as the entire post is handled internally by the use of a few lines of code. |
