I just downloaded your Autocomplete program and I love it.
Just two points:
It would be nice if the installer would ask me for the path where VDS is installed (or automatically determines it itself) so that your program is installed in the correct spot.
I use to write all VDS commands and functions in capitals and Autocomplete completes only in lowercase.
Would it be possible to make a Config/Preference item in the right click menu of Autocomplete where one can set preferences for how commands and function should be autocompleted.
For the rest I can only say "Another job wel done Skit"

Hi Jan,
For the first question, I tried to do that but I couldn't figure out how to let the installation tool choose which folder to use... For the second one, I think you will be able to create a tool with VDS to convert all the words in the "commands.lst" and "function.lst" files to capitals... _________________ [ Add autocomplete functionality to your VDS IDE windows! ]

Thanks Skit.
For installations which gives the user the option to choose a location you could try GKsetup (http://www.gkware.com).
They have a free version which still has all the features you could wish for.
But as a result the installation file is bigger. Give it a try. |

Both Inno Setup and NSIS allow you to do this.
Both of them also allow the default installation path to be read from the registry, so they can automatically set the already chosen path for an upgrade / reinstallation. I expect the VDS installation path is written to the registry somewhere by the installer, but I can't verify this because my copy of VDS 5 was installed from a backup (and I had no involvement in building the VDS installer packages.). _________________ The Tech Pro
