OK, So i am trying to promote my software. It is my first Program and its written completly in Visual Dialog Script 4.

There are new features with version 2.1.1 and some major bug fixes.

I removed the Active login screen, because it crashed the program after logging in more than 10 times.

Also the program would not close all or any windows. So I added so new code to rectify this.

Anyway I hope you download and try it.

It will only work with windows 95, 98 & ME.

Just download version 2.1 of PC Protector and I got the following errors when it tries to start:

Runtime error 28 at line 1199.... Because your DLL VDSSplash.dll was named VDSSP1.DLL during the install

After renaming it VDSSPLASH.DLL, and tried to start it again I got an ERROR 5 AT LINE 608 with the splash screen on top.

I had to reboot the PC and remove it in safe mode because only the splash screen was showing and I couldnt end the task by doing a ctrl-alt-del because I guess Pcprotector was blocking that.

I don't know if you did, but you should put for example OPTION ERRORTRAP,ERRORSECTION at the beginning of your application and put in the :ERRORSECTION something to close PcProtector in case of an error.

Another thing I noticed is that there's no program group created in the START/PROGRAMS on of my Windows 98SE during the setup procedure. So I have to go manually in my Program Files folder to start PC Protector.

So it's not really working for me over here

I have Windows 98SE, PII 300, 32 Megs
