Clean and easy on the eyes. Easy to get around. It's refreshing after
seeing all the graphic monstrosities you find elsewhere on the net.

Thanks Garrett. I don't like all the graphics rich web sites either. Mostly
because they take too long to load, but also they create an information
overload.

Added some more content and slightly redesigned shinobisoft.vdsworld.com again.

Does it look cheap, generic, professional, semi-professional? Any hints? I
was actually having a chat with someone earlier about my artistic abilities,
or lack there of. Was just wondering if I need help with designing my web
pages or if I actually did something good for a change.

Visit ShinobiSoft

Thanks,

Like the website, it's clean and clear with easy navigation.
By keeping things as simple as you did customers can concentrate on the content directly.
Great work Bill!

Very Happy

looks good...simple and to the point

can i suggest that when i place my mouse over the menu on the left, that a hand be displayed? it shows as a cursor (using firefox)

also, your products pages have tables that go beyond the resolution of my screen on the right (and i am using 1280x1024 with firefox)... make the table 100% to automatically adjust

seeing that no one has commented on these, i assume that it is a firefox problem (?)

Hi Serge,

I tested it with FireFox before posting it. I'm not real happy with the way
that FireFox handles Javascripts and Style sheets. The items in the
navigation menu do have the hand cursor onmouseover and goes back to
the default cursor onmouseout.

As for the tables on the product pages, nothing I've written uses a fixed
width or size. I think that aslo has something to do with FireFox and the
way it handles frames.

it's a shame that the browsers can't work as they are supposed to isn't it? this makes it that much harder for webmasters and mistresses who have to check that their site looks good and works as expected in several browsers

You got that right Wink . It makes it very difficult to make cross-browser
web pages/sites. Fortunately, even with the inherent bugs in IE, most of
the people that browse my web site are actually using IE. I think Filip is
only Opera browser entry that I have, and then the remainder use FireFox.

when firefox came out, there was a massive shift from IE to firefox...it will be interesting to see what happens when MS brings out their new IE with tab browsing and what not

Even with tabs, I'll have hell of a hard time trusting MSIE ever again.

Besides, the next version will probably be bigger than an XP install! Wink

IE is a very safe browser. The problem is not in the browser but with active-x. Enable the active-x plugin with Firefox and you'll have the same problems with silently installed spyware.

You simply need to go into IE to tweak one setting to make it 100% secure:

TOOLS> INTERNET OPTIONS> SECURITY>

Click buton 'CUSTOM LEVEL'.

Select MEDIUM level, click RESET

Now scroll down the list and disable 'binary and script behaviors".

IE is 100% safe now.

I personally use IE and don't have Firefox installed. I'ved tried firefox and it's a great browser but IE really is what I like using and am accustomed to.
