All of the sample scripts, but one, were written for VDS 4.x and have been
tested by several people on different machines and OSs.

I think I know a possible problem. Try copying the SSMenu.dll to the
.\samples subfolder in the installation path.

This version of SSMenu.Dll comes with an installer. I've updated the
archive and installer to copy SSMenu.Dll into the .\Samples folder as well
as the root of the installation folder.

Just kinda curious folks, could I get a little feedback on the update? I
realize that usually no news is good news, but I like to hear the good
news once in a while. Surprised

Could those who do provide some feedback please also provide some
operating system information.

Thanks,

Bill,

I've downloaded the update but haven't had any time to actually play with it. I'll try to get some feedback to you next week.

Hi Filip,

I'm still working on a sample script to do that. I think I'll also add a
function in the dll to do that when I get a chance. Wink

You got your wish Filip. Wink

I haven't uploaded the update yet, but I've added a new statusbar event
for statusbars with the RCLICK style and not in simple mode. The fired
event is "<Name>PANEL<#>RCLICK", where "<Name>" is the name of the
statusbar control and <#> is the panel number that was right clicked.

I need to finish updating the help file and then I'll upload the update.

SSMenu.Dll 2.01 has been uploaded. Download

This update updates the help file again, I forgot to add the 'status_resize'
command as well as brings a new function, 'status_isSimple', and a new
event. The new event is only fired if the statusbar is not in simple mode
and has the RCLICK style. RCLICK on a panel and the fired event will be
"StatusNamePANEL#RCLICK", where "StatusName" is the name of the
statusbar control and "#" is the panel number that was RCLICKed.

Some of the samples have been updated to use some of the newer features
of SSMenu.Dll. Please browse the source code for the samples.

I've added a couple new commads to SSMenu.Dll. Please note, because
there had only been a couple downloads from yesterdays update, I haven't
changed the version number of the .dll. It is still 2.01.

    Added::

    1) status_showPM
Add a progress meter to a statusbar panel

    2) status_hidePM
Remove the progress meter from a statusbar

    3) status_setPM
Used to set the progress meters display. Same as 'dialog set,...'

    4) status_setPMBkColor
Sets the background color for a statusbar's progress meter.

    5) status_setPMColor
Sets the foreground color for a statusbar's progress meter.

Sorry about the DEBUG messages, they have been removed. The statusbar
does not process CLICK and DBLCLICK messages when it is NOT is simple
mode. To use a CLICK event on a statusbar it cannot be split into panels.
Sorry, not my doing, that's the way the API is Confused
