Don't know if this is useful to anyone, but here is a DSU and source code to change menu items. Also, you can click and hotkey them.

Thanks for the kind words. This was my first DSU so if you guys can improve upon it, feel free to do so. Just please post back here any developments so that I may learn from your experience. Also, I am writing a DSU that will keep a history of opened files under the file menu (like Microsoft Office apps do). I will reply here and post in the Other Product Support/Announcements.
