Is it possible to stop edit boxes splitting words without disabling wordwrap
example
I like to eat spicy ch
icken
is there any way to make the whole word get copyed onto the next line _________________ XIAXED... |

That is an irregular behavior for the native Windows edit control. I can't
say for sure, but it is possible that CR is using their own word wrap
procedure instead of the default word wrap procedure provided by
Windows. If that is the case, there is the possibility that there is an error
in their word wrapping logic, but I cannot say for sure. _________________ Bill Weckel

i have an idea that Garrett brought out something that helped with that ... do a search at the forum along those lines
have you tried vdsobj.dll? it has its own editboxes that may behave better...

Yes you can use the VDSOBJ and set the style to plaintext, so it only allows plaintext rather than rich text (images, fonts, colors etc). I have yet to see any problem with the wordwrapping in vds though so I'm not sure if there could be a problem on your system with the wrapping. |

is it possible office 2003 is messing with it

I found that is was the way in which i was inputting the text via
a simple
%%input = %%Word1 %%Word2
fixed the issues _________________ XIAXED... |
