Hello everybody.
Just wanting to know if anybody has done this and how it worked.
A few years ago I write a small CGI application on my webserver and VDS worked great for that and still is running it.
Now I need to write one again. But I am wondering if this is even possibile with VDS. I have 4 Telnet servers running 4/7/365 displaying information. I want to be able to see that information from where ever I am thru a webbrowser (IE...etc). Also I want to be able to issue commands to the telnet server thru the browser and see the results.
The reason I want to do it thru the browser si to limit having to open anymore ports on the firewall. Currently on the webserver I am just running Apache and Php, with MySQL with ports 80 and 8080 open. The 4 Telnet servers run on seperate servers themselves.
I am registered with Tommy VDSDLL and VDSPack that has networking DLLS. But before I start looking into writting something and wasting time just testing. I wanted to see if anybody else as been successful at something like this.
Thanks for any input on this.
I am a Registered VDS User and have registered most of the DLL's over the years. As I luv VDs and can't wait for 6 to be released one day.
Any ideas or feedback would greatly be helpful.
FYI I had to re-register on here as I couldn't get my old account to work and my email address I used to use and registered with, doesn't work anymore and I got no repsonse back to getting it changed on herre either. _________________ Registered User Since 1997 Woot. |
