is it a way or documentation on how to manage mysql data, locally or via tcp, from vds?

If you use MYSQL 5 you will need to use the OLDPASSWORDS method, the newer version of mysql 5 uses a new password scheme which is not compatible with Tommy's dll which was written for mysql 4. It is a setting you can make in the mysql.ini file to use the oldpasswords method. With that enabled it will work with Mysql 5  |
