Hey VDSWORLD webmasters,

There seems to be a bunch of API questions and knowlege in this forum.

I think it would be a great idea to have a separate discussion category for API Help.

Just a thought/request

Happy Easter,

Aslan

Hi Aslan,

You're right -- there are a lot of API questions that could be consolidated to one forum
category.

I've created an API Discussion forum under the "Advanced VDS Discussion" category.
I'll be working to move posts there when I have free time.

Aslan & FF,
Is this Topic only for API Messages or is it also for posting about using Non-VDS DLL API's. I guess everyone started calling them API Messages because they were external to VDS however they are actually Window Messages which are really just events between windows and the system. An API is actually the functions in a DLL or OCX. It is actually the interface in which you program an Application.

The only reason I ask is because this would strip almost every post out of the Advanced VDS 5+ forum Question

Dragonsphere,

You're right--perhaps this forum should be changed to pre-VDS 5 API discussion.
Or, perhaps, we may not need it seeing as most new topics are dealing with VDS 5.

After careful consideration with the team members, we have concluded that
it would be best structurally to contain all posts regarding APIs within this
forum.

Thanks for your understanding.
