Version: 1.4.x.x

BTW, is this suppose to run on Windows ME?

If so, here's the error I got when first running it on a Win ME box:

Quote:
Fatel Error (notice spelling error of the word "Fatal" there too :p) SeaJay will now exit and all portable applications will be closed!

Please save and close any open files on your portable device before pressing OK!!

Error: 42 Line 359

Subsequent runs produce the same error. The interface does show up just prior to the error, but no interaction has taken place between the user and the program. Not enough time for the user to even move the mouse over to the SeaJay window to cause any errors themselves.

Thanks. Damn spelling errors. I made it mainly for XP and above, but I'll look into that error.

Did you get that error before? The line 359 has been in all the versions. Have you run it on Windows ME before?

Is anyone else getting this error?

Na, that was the first time I tried it on ME... I just happen to be working on something else at the time in ME and thought I'd give SeaJay a test run on ME while I was there. It's the only time I got that specific error too. Though I haven't tried it in Vista or XP with your latest version and won't be able to until Monday when HP replaces the 3rd recovery disc for my system. I am fed up with Vista and going back to XP. But I'll install Vista in a virt program for testing things.

Ok. Cool. I'll put on my site. Only tested in XP for now. I removed Vista as well. I've been using XP for a while now. I may install Vista in a VM also, didn't think of that for testing. Thanks. Smile

Hi there!

I can install and I can see the install procedure running. But nothing shows up in the SeaJay window.
The App section remains blank.

Chris, all my previous tests and replies were from testing on Vista Business Edition... So I'm pretty sure SeaJay is fine on Vista.

Hi Chris

A suggestion for your app...

How about adding Get Apps

You could create:

a Mysql database with application names, locations, versions, images etc etc

Get you app to call a .php file on the server and return a list of apps and there versions, then give the user the option to users to update a current version of download a new app...

I could help you with the code there, Im a MySQL and PHP programmer and have inplemented this, including encryption, storage, payment processsing into some of my VDS projects.

regards

Nathan

Ok, Thanks, I'll check the error. As far as the Get Apps, I don't know SQL or PHP, I could do something like that with an INI file, but the problem is I don't have server space to host the apps. I'd have to use mediafire and just link to the app on there.

@Dread Did you try to refresh the list (Right click and choose Refresh list)? Does it show up if you close and restart SeaJay?

Nope, no luck whatsoever. No apps show up. I'm on WinXP Danish language version.

That is very odd. I'll look into it. I don't know why apps would not show up. Have you tried a previous version of SeaJay? Has it worked before?
