Does anyone know if there are any issues with native VDS 6 programs and Windows 7?
Thanks,

The IDE and apps created with VDS 6 seem to work on Win7., but the installer for VDS 6 had to run in compatibility mode. |

I haven't had any problems running VDS programs. As Aslan the installer needs to be run in Windows XP mode. _________________ Chris

All my apps seem to run fine, with the exception of one that pipes the results of a dos command into a variable. It would appear that if my app runs a command prompt by ANY means (run shell pipe) it can't recognize the nbtstat command.
To recreate this run one line from VDS,
RUN CMD
in the command shell type NBTSTAT
does not work
From Windows 7 run CMD then type NBTSTAT
works fine
Even if I put the NBTSTAT in a batch file and run the batch from VDS it does not work.
Any ideas on how to fix this!
Cheers,

First, check to see if NBSTAT even exists on Windows 7. _________________ 'What you do not want done to yourself, do not do to others.' - Confucius (550 b.c. to 479 b.c.) |
