HI All, I'm working on building a vds form with Groups that have checkbox items. but don't know how to get the selcted only checkboxes into variables which can then if selected by added to a %%Query variable thus building a url with string information in it to pass to a PHP script so trying to get VDS form to behave like a HTML form.

Can anyone help with this and perhaps an example.

So far I have a child window with Group1 Group2 Group3 Group4

Group1 has 10 Checkboxes named with the names of the columns and tables I want to query.
The ok button then needs to do something like php does with .join to put all the values together. it then writes the information to a registry key and sets a flag file so that the main window Timer loop spots the flag and looks for the stored query and passes it in the chosen Browser...

Hope this all makes sence and someone can put me on the right track.

I look forward to hearing from you shortly
Regards to all.
