Well guys I've been using VDS since version 3 and have purchased every new version since.
I'm not a programmer by profession but in my job I frequently have the need to quickly develop a new utility or tool and VDS has always been there for me. It's so easy to use, absolutely stable and better yet I understand it!

I really need to develop some proficiency in a newer (supportable) tool and have started dabbling with VB.NET and C#.

What I'd like to do is start by converting some of my existing VDS code.

I was wondering if any of you more proficient programmers would be willing to post some simple examples of a VDS program as well as the C# or VB code that replaced it. I'm sure some of you have already converted your favorite tools and I'm hoping that seeing the logic side by side might get me to that AH-HA moment where it starts to make more sense

Thanks in advance.
........David
