Visual DialogScript Mailing List Rules
======================================
[1] You are given a 28 day evaluation period on the vds-l list. After that
evaluation period and you have not registered Visual DialogScript then you will
be removed, no exceptions! You will be allowed back onto the list once you
register Visual DialogScript.
[2] Do not use HTML-formatted e-mail (also called "RTF", or "Rich Text
Formatted"). Use plain text, unless the recipient has specifically requested
that you send them HTML formatted e-mail. For this list, use only plain text,
not HTML.
[3] Do not send binaries over 20k to the list. Actually, I'd prefer you not send
binary attachments at all -- it is much more polite to post a URL of the
location of the binary, or to post an offer to send the binary directly to those
interested.
[4] Do no post messages pertaining to anything other than VDS, such as
unsolicited commercial messages, insulting messages, or political messages, or
messages criticizing/praising any company/individual/organization or anything
else trivial and calculated to distract.
[5] Do not post messages relating to or dealing with a means of trying to
defraud S.A.D.E. s.a.r.l., challenges to any of S.A.D.E. s.a.r.l.'s software
license agreements, methods of decompiling VDS, illegally using VDS, and/or
anything deemed illegal.
[6] Challenges to any policy of the list administrator or any official within the
vds-l will result in the immediate removal or change in status of posting rights
of that individual.
[7] Any infractions of the mentioned or un-mentioned rules stated above may
result in the removal of the user. If the incident was accidental then
consideration will be taken into, otherwise all purposeful act(s) perpetuated on
this list will warrant the immediate removal of the violator and the contact of
his/her internet service provider as well as other parties associated with this
individual.

I remember the list from all the way back when I first found VDS, around version 2.5ish. _________________ 'What you do not want done to yourself, do not do to others.' - Confucius (550 b.c. to 479 b.c.) |
