I'm having a problem loading mp3 files from Amazon.com and iTunes via @mci().
In Windows Explorer they have a little lock on the bottom left corner of them, but when I check the file details under "Protected" it says no, but the "Attributes" indicate "AI" where as all other mp3 files I have only have "A" for the attribute.
Does anyone know what's up?
Yes, I know of all the dlls for mp3 files, but I was trying to get away with using pure VDS without any dll files if I could. That, and two of the dll files crash VDS on me using VDS 6 on Win7 32 bit.
Any hints appreciated, thanks,

Well this a bummer.. the VDSMEDIA dll will at least play the files that I'm having problems with but it won't give me total time and current time of the files being played.

Ok, it does give the duration, but you must actually play the file, wait about a second, grab the duration and then stop the file. Well at least it works.
