VDS does NOT release vars completely, even when
they are cleared by using:

%%myvar = ""

When the max limit of custom variables has been
reached, you cannot clear them and add new vars
with different names. This has been tested in VDS3
and VDS4 (thanks to Sheep). While the vars are
retained, the memory used by the contents appears
to be available when a var is cleared.

It also seems to be a good idea to use the minimum
number of vars that's practical, re-use them when
you can, and clear them when the data is no longer
needed (especially if they contain more than a few
chars).

Cheers, Mac Smile
