Anybody know how to link directly to our private
message page here? I've tried using the URL from
a browser that shows the link with password and
username, but it still goes to the main forum page...

http://Nickname:Password@www.vdsworld.com/forum/privmsg.php?folder=inbox takes me to the PM Inbox, but that exact link with "Nickname" and "Password" still let's me into my Inbox. So if you don't have autologin checked I'm not sure you can feed it the nick and pass.
Or I could be way away from what you're looking for.. _________________ -Sheep

Thanks Sheep,
That gets me there, but it does require auto-login
(works with cookies I guess?).
I was hopin' for a way to auto-dload the page with
VDSIPP to check for new PMs, and was also gonna
check the outbox the same way (if I had sent a PM).
Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks Skit, but I'm a cookie moron. I have no
clue how they work...
If that's the only way to dload the PM page, I'm
gonna need a serious code example...

I looked at it Skit, but I'm not sure how that's
supposed to help me with cookies. I don't want
to re-invent the wheel - just dload a single page...
When I said I have no clue, I was serious. I don't
even know which cookie (or part of a cookie?) I'm
supposed to use, or what to do with it.
I was thinkin' Garrett had posted about cookies
before, but haven't been able to find anything by
searching.
Hey GAAAARRRRRREEETTTTTTTTT....

OK, I figured how to get a direct link to the PM page...
Login with cookies disabled, and auto-login unchecked.
Go to the PM page (check messages) and copy the URL.
Thanks for the help guys.

There may be posted examples, but the search on the forum isn't
working quite right; the search Wordlist will need to be fixed.

This program manages cookies and allows you do delete them off from
your computer, but it does not write or read cookies. _________________ FreezingFire

The SQL database that the forum uses does indeed use a wordlist...
It may have been lost when VDSWORLD was attacked. _________________ FreezingFire
