I think I always ask the most difficult questions arround here, but I want to make (again! 3th time) a kind of DJ-program. This time I want to use 2 soundcards, so that the user actually can play the music on deck 1 and listen to the music on deck 2 through the headphones.

Is it possible to use 2 soundcards? Maybe with a extended .dll-file? If these is not available, is there someone who wants to realize this with me? I think that is a great addition, but I've never seen it in VDS.

Thanks in advance for your reply,
Raymond

If your system supports dual sound cards and has suitable drivers in place then you can try using wavemix dll and set the sound card to output sound through as I faintly remember.

Hey CodeScript,

Thanks for your reply but it's not what I'm looking for. I'm using MP3-files to play in an advanced (DJ) music-player. What I want to include in my program is the use of multiple-soundcards. MP3 1 playing trough soundcard 1 and MP3 2 playing through soundcard 2...

This for seperating the streams, stream 1 for playing the music trough the speakers (for example) and stream 2 for listening with an headphone.

I don't know much about DLL-programming, but is it much work to add some kind of command to switch the output-source? (Switch to source 1, play MP3, switch to source 2 and play anoter MP3).

Thanks in advance,
Raymond
