|

I have two questions regarding displaying a local folder (like the c:\temp directory) in the VDS browser element.
1.) Depending on the size of the browser element, the left panel (with System Tasks) is shown in Windows XP. If the element is not as wide, the left panel is not shown. You can see this same effect if you open up the c:\ drive in Internet Explorer on XP and then slowly make the window less wide.
Does anyone know how I can display a folder in the browser without the left panel? Or make it appear or not appear?
2.) Is there any way (via API, etc.) to set the display properties for the folder displayed in the browser element? For instance, I can right-click and change the view from list to icon, etc. Can I set this when I initially display the browser?
Thanks for any help. _________________ Joe Floyd |

I guess no-one else has tried to do this. The most likely place to get an answer would be in one of the Microsoft developer newsgroups. _________________ The Tech Pro
