Tdk161,
That DLL is supported by ShinobiSoft. Have you contacted them yet about this?

tdk161,

I contacted ShinobiSoft (Bill Weckel) in december because I had trouble with ssZip.dll when I wanted to add folders to a zip-file.
Bill sent a reply in which he stated he was reworking/redesigning ssZip as he was not happy with it and promised to let me know when it was finished. Haven't heard from him since so either he's too busy to redesign ssZip or the redesign takes more time than anticipated.

For me ssZip works fine as long as I use it to backup files but is not working properly when creating zip-files which should contain folders.

It's not much help but at least now you know that some work is underway.

Jan

The Commercial Research Zip extension works pretty well. At least, I use it in my utility Tech-Pro Zip and have never had any complaints about it. I've used it in a few other things as well.
